5 Keys to BOLD Leadership (Important)
As I’ve decided to take the company to the next level,
I am going to share with you the “FIVE” principles that
every successful leader HAS to become extremely
successful online.
These principles are the DISCIPLINE I have implemented
within my organization from top to the bottom level of
the organization.
WHAT do we do? HOW do we do it? What does it take to
make 117 become the ICON for the giveaway industry?
1. Plan All The Way Till The End.
One of the biggest reasons 117 is a very successful
campaign, it is NOT so much of a special secret that
we developed. Instead, it is MORE of an overall plan.
LOOK. Our competitors are copying what we do. They
think of us as a role model for the giveaway campaign.
What we do differently is, we FOCUS on growth. We
focus on the end result.
How many subscribers do we want to get?
How many back-end sales do we want to receive?
How many subscribers do we want our partners to get?
How much net profit do we want to get?
Basically, we MEASURE each part of the system that
fit the overall picture. Then, we take BOLD actions
on the plan, until we reach it. It is that simple!
2. We BREAK Them Down Into Pieces. (No simple delegation)
Most people misunderstand about the WORD delegation.
They simply let the assistant, programmers, or designer
do the work and EXPECT everything to be done for them.
HECK! This will never happen.
Every successful leader knows that we MUST tackle
each component very closely.
For example:
If you go to MySupercoach.com or 117Network.com, every
design that you see is NOT just a coincidence. I have
been personally involved in each process very closely.
I have my project team sketch on the design. I have
also re-sketched the entire website as well. Once it
is done, I would pass them onto the designer and
programmers to apply onto the site.
However…
It does NOT mean my job is done. As a leader, I follow
them very carefully. I test out the entire system to
make sure it runs smoothly. If it is NOT, I would have
them fix it until it becomes perfect.
3. We TACKLE Each Problem. (Not each individual)
You can ask any of our team members. I do NOT hesitate
to JUMP onto the problem and help them out until we
finalize the solution. This is WHAT WE DO.
As a leader, you need to get dirty in the field. The
title President or CEO is really useless. A leader is
someone that SERVES more than ever. We do our best
to make sure every issue is done ON TIME.
Why this is important?
To become successful, you can’t just sit down and expect
money to grow on trees. It doesn’t work that way. You
want business, you have to get it. You want success, you
have to earn it. PERIOD.
Every single time I work on the business, I will make
sure I am on top of everything. Problems should NOT
wait overnight. It should be done the same day.
4. Know Your Competitors.
There is ONE saying… “If your enemies do not take
a day off, why should you?”
Listen guys. You want to fight. You have to fight like
a guerilla. In business, there is ONLY one principle,
you either FIGHT with your last breath or your enemy
will overpower you.
Whether it is visible or not, your competitors will
SUCK UP your alliances, customers, and employees. If
you want to be on top of the game, be BETTER than they
are. It means that it all starts from you.
5. Discipline Yourself and Take Action.
We just LOVE to shout at the employees and suppliers
who do NOT follow through with our expectations. Have
you looked into the mirror and shouted at yourself?
Successful leaders knows that he or she is the biggest
enemy in the business. STOP looking for an outside factor
to blame, but look on the inside. I admit that I have
made a lot of mistakes. (Many people won’t admit it)
They blame others, economy, government, and much more.
However, they never look at the inside factors. Since
the day I made my success in 2004, I disciplined myself
first before others.
I look very closely at what I do wrong and fix it. I
teach the people in my organization what they should
do differently based on WHAT I practice in my own life.
So… STOP being a preacher, be a doer.
This is YOUR ONLY key to becoming successful. I know
these five principles sound very HARSH. However, I do
want you to realize this:
“Your Competitors Are Very Aggressive on Getting
Things Done, What is Your Chance to Survive,
If you are Just Sitting Down and Expecting
Money to grow on Trees?”
